Google Changed Algorithm
Saturday, October 20th, Google was shut down for 4 hours for maintenance. They changed its algorithm for evaluating the Quality Score of AdWords’ keywords phrases, ads, and landing pages’ quality score. Because of this, for many advertisers, was that their keywords stopped showing ads as the minimum bid price of each effected keyword increased. About 6 weeks earlier, beginning of September, there was an earlier algorithm update, although the effects were lesser.
Google has now heavily implemented its LSA - Latent Semantic Analysis for evaluating landing pages and other web pages. The effects of this are that there must be laser-like focus and alignment from browser search phrase, through keyword phrase, and AdWords ad, through to the focusof the landing page. Wording of phrases, ads, and landing pages must now involve a writing style that creates the text with SEO (search engineoptimization) requirements in mind.
